"Global Channel" or "Common Channel on Steroids"

I would like to see the ability to create what I term "Global Channels".  These could be made available across all Campaigns and Timelines.  Unlike "Common Channels", which are tied to a campaign, these could be modified in one location, and be applied on all compaigns using them.

Necessary?  No.  Desired and useful?  Absolutely.
