Register mediaDroidx on Google Play for updates

I just set up a mediaDroidx device. The instructions say to register the device with Google Play so I can push updates to the device remotely. I logged into a Google account on the device and I can open Google Play, but I don't see any way to register the device with that Google Play account. Does anyone know how to do this?

Yes you will need to install the App from Google Play onto your device.
So go to: http://android.digitalsignage.com and click install app to and select your mediaDROIDX registered device from the drop down list (that is if you registered with your same google account)

and that is just so you can push software version updates of the SignagePlayer of course, not your campaign updates which don't require google play, just want to make that clear.

When I go to google play is says I do not have any devices. Any suggestions?
