Ad Creation Tools

I am a signage startup trying to reduce operating costs by generating our own content for our customers.

I have tried developing with Swish max, and powerpoint converted to mp4.

Powerpoint looks ok, but is limited in functionality and I cant seem to be able to get it to run properly.

Any other suggestions for programs we could use?

Adobe Flash CS is the most flexible but does have a bit of a learning curve.

Does anyone here have experience with the Ad Creator by laughingbird software?

I found a Wildform Flair to be extremely versatile. It produces flash swf files. Its much easier to
learn and use than CS Flash. Check it out here: http://www.wildform.com/products/flair/

I also checked out flypaper.com, it has a lot of helpful features. However, its not cheap; about $1000 for the digital signage version.
