Scheduling issue
« on: July 21, 2011, 01:07:12 PM »
hello,

Have a question about the scheduling mode. I have 7 different 14hr timelines for each day of the week displaying events at different intervals. I have each timeline scheduled to start at 5:30am on their specific day. I ran a few tests and it will load the correct timeline on the correct day, but it seems that the all the timelines start at their beginning no matter what time it is. Do I need to have a different timeline for each event change, or am I missing something? thanks for the help.

The timeline that you Scheduled will be the one that will start at the set time...

It starts the timeline for that day, but it starts it from the beginning, no matter what time it is. My timeline starts at 5:30am and has its first screen change 30min later at 6:00am. If I were to restart my signage player right now, then all of my events would restart from the beginning. Say I restarted it at 8:00am, then my first event change would happen at 8:30.

Correct, as of now it will start from the begining by design, you may want to create shorter timelines and schedule those.
