Well, I was using 4.0.15. The blog about the beta as well as the update blog both tell you what you need to do for all operating systems. Thus giving one the impression that all operating systems are able to use the beta. It wasn't until I was chatting with tech support online that I found out Windows was the only OS supported right now.
It is odd that we are told that version 3 and 4 do not play well together, yet when you sign in online you are automatically using 4.0.15 to build your content and you have to use 3.x desktop and player for it to work properly.
Anyhow, 4.0 installs but leave that message about manual install of the script, which you can't do with the install.sh that is loaded. I was able to get around this by extracting the install.sh from 3.x and replacing the 4.x one. This allows the script to run. I think I that the script is formatted for DOS not Mac. It doesn't remove the manual install script as of yet but the script runs. Maybe the controller script also is it formatted incorrectly.
I am very impressed with the system so far. Even with the issues that will be corrected in the Beta, in my opinion, it is far superior to two other "leading or #1" systems out there. Congrats on a successful and an awesome product.
