SignagePlayer / Updated to 5.0 player, some scenes no longer play properly

Hello,

We're server customers -- just began upgrading our players to the new 5.0 version, also made sure to update air as well.  Now we're seeing that our scenes with mp4 video clips are not playing properly.  We're getting that loading bar, but the loading never progresses.  It's only happening on the units we've upgraded so far.

Any thoughts as to why this is happening?

Running studio 4.34.31 and my weather component still will not show current weather, nor will it show the days of the week in a forecast.

Not just you, that's why I've logged into the forum today. We have a 4-day forecast setup, have had it for years... but lately it's showing all different days, and they keep changing.  Today, it should show Tues/Wed/Thurs/Fri... but every time it pops up, it's wrong.  One play-through will show Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon, then the next time it may show Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat.  It's showing incorrectly on our players and in the studio... so it would be nice to have a fix very soon!

I'm having this issue, on a media box, though -- not an Android.   Is there a link you can give for me to re-download and re-install the controller to see if that fixes the issue?   This happened out of the blue, not sure why my controller is disconnected.  Tried clearing the cache, re-registering, restarting... none of those things have helped.  Hoping a re-install will do the trick.

I appreciate your trying -- you've done more than anyone else!  I was thinking this forum was for server customers -- so it was just an error on my part that I posted it here rather than the studio forum.

We are not updated to the latest server/studio versions, I will try that next.

No.  Never did.   I was told it's a network problem, but everything else I run works perfectly except for this one piece of software... and there have been no network changes.

It's happening right now for us in our 4 day forecast...  Tomorrow and Friday's lows are below zero, showing as NaN.   Zip code is 48335.

Same here.  What's odd, the current temp today showed as a negative number... but the forecast with negative numbers show NaN.    Looks unprofessional, we need a fix.

Is no one out there using MAC OS X Yosemite?  I'm inclined to believe the problem lies with incompatibility between Yosemite and SignageStudio.. but no one seems to care to help.   Live chat had absolutely no solutions other than to blame my network settings.  However, my network settings are fine -- I can connect to everything just as I used to - the only thing I cannot connect to is your program.

I'd like confirmation from admin or someone that they have successfully used the server studio with Yosemite. 

Please - any response is appreciated here.   I'm getting no where.

I made the mistake of updating my Mac to the new OS X Yosemite  ... and now I cannot sign into my Signage Studio.  It says "please wait" (as usual) then says "No Connection.  Please try again in a few minutes."

I'm currently on with the live chat but they don't really have an answer except to say 'something must have changed when you updated' ....

Has anyone else out there had problems using the Signage Studio after you updated to Mac OS X Yosemite?  If so, how did you fix?  Or can anyone point me in the right direction?
