is it green or yellow? the status at the player indicates Polling - this normally refers to network or firewall issue.

are you using a firewall or web filter?

I purchased a Mediadroid-X, but it won't upload scenes.  It worked once, but now will not upload. I'm new at this and am just using it to play a video.  So I created a scene (I did click to make it an assignable scene), added one video to it, and it won't upload into the player.

When the controller loads it says the following:
App version: 5.0.4 (5.0.97)
Air Version: 20.0.0.233
Quality: High
Server Status: Polling every 60 sec (in yellow)
Watchdog  Running (in green)
Server URL: xxxx://Jupiter.signage.me (xxxx because won't let me post with external links)
Business Name: xxxxxxxx
Station Name: xxxxx (it's correct and shows up on my Signage studio app for windows)
Campaign: None (in red)
Output: None (in red)

Also - from Signage studio it will say under "Last Status" Loading then goes to Not assigned.  There is a green dot under connection.

Not sure what to do.  Have turned it off and on, but that didn't seem to help.  Can't get anything to play from it now.  Thanks for your help.

It does have the SignagePlayer installed.  I did not see Signage Watchdog or Signage Controller installed.  Can those be downloaded from Google Store?

did the device come with the Signage Player app? did it also have Signage Watchdog or Signage Controller app installed?

XMPS1 Signage Player is not a product of ours - it is sold by Devices Unlimited which is not affiliated with our company.  so we are unsure what apps had been installed on these devices

I bought an Android player through Amazon.  Here is the description:

COMPLETE AND SIMPLE DIGITAL SIGNAGE SOLUTION: Our XMPS1 Signage Player is a simple digital signage solution that connects to displays and powered by our cloud-based signage server. Our Design Studio lets you design, upload, edit, and manage content remotely anywhere, at any time.

Problem is that it will not boot with SignagePlayer running.  I noticed that the Watchdog app is not installed, but I can't find it on the Google Play Store.  Any suggestions?

how large is the video?  from your description, you mentioned "eventually" which indicates the video may be taking time to download and cache.

what player device are you using? and what player software version?

SignageStudio / MP4 Video NOT loading to just 1 of 7 screens

Help!

We have seven (7) digital signage screens scattered around our building.  We have a scene that was created using Scene Editor which has a .mp4 video resource in it.  The scene played just fine on six (6) of the digital signage screens, eventually.  For several of them, it took a restart for the video to actually show up.

However, one (1) of the screens is still not showing up.  It just shows as a blank portion of the scene.  Here's what I've done so far.

  • Did File>Save/Upload several times.
  • Did File>Save/Upload and selected "Cache resource before play."
  • Rebooted the screen from Stations.

What else should I do to troubleshoot?

Have I missed this feature? How is it accessed? I am currently using SignageStudio to manage accounts.

which feature are you referring to? WebStudio on Mediaserver?

after adding a resource, you must hit File | Save/Upload to actually upload the resource and only then can you use or preview them. if it still does not show after saving, join us on chat to further troubleshoot the issue.
