Hello Admin,

Are we still expecting to have a replacement platform released before the end of the year?

And are there any plans for a SignagePlayer solution that doesn't require Flash as well?

SignageStudio / Re: Execute TrueConf Client on DigitalSignage Player
« Last post by admin on November 30, 2020, 10:21:11 PM »
the most you can do is launch TrueConf Client from the player provided that you are using Windows device as your player.  you will launch the client using Ext/App Capture component where you will put the path to the program in AppName  field and any command line parameters in Command Line field of said component.

Note: other than launching and passing command line parameters is the most the player can do and have no control over the client.

Is there a way to make a video conference with the TrueConf Client run embedded in the DigitalSignage Player? Any script or command?

SignageStudio / Re: Can't Get the HTML5 widget to show my scheduling page

you can also use chrome instead of firefox. note that like firefox, if the interface is not full screen, the browser's window can is floating and can be moved

using chrome, you can use:
App Name: c:\progra~2\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe
Command Line: --app="<yourURL>"

where <yourURL> is the site you wish to  show. change --app="<yourURL>" to --kiosk "<yourURL>" if you want full screen

I tried to use web.whatsapp.com inside the html component, it then indicates it needs a browser update which I cannot execute, most likely because of the setup within the Cloud. for that reason I am now testing with the external app component.

I am using Firefox thru the external app component inside a scene. At runtime (Signageplayer), Firefox is executed as a standalone window on top of the Signage presentation, but not fixed within the defined screen division. I can freely move the Firefox windows around the screen independent from the Signage presentation. I need it being fixed inside the Signage presentation. How can I solve this?

SignagePlayer / Re: FRUSTRATED!!!! How do you download/add SignagePlayer!?!?!?
« Last post by admin on October 07, 2020, 01:00:48 PM »
there are two softwares needed: Signage Studio and Signage Player

Signage Studio is where you are going to create and update your presentation. when you save, its uploaded to our server while Signage Player is the software that is to be installed on your device (if you got the device from us, its already preloaded).

if the intent is to create and upload the presentation, what you need is the Signage Studio software.  the website redirects you to a certain "download" page only if you are trying to log into Studio with a Pro account from the browser - if you are trying to use this, you will need to enable Flash on your browser.

currently, web version of studio does not save properly, so it would be best to download desktop software instead.
if you are using Windows, download and install Studio from : http://galaxy.signage.me/Code/install/exe/CloudSignageStudioSetup.exe
if you are using Mac, download and install Studio from: https://www.digitalsignage.com/downloads/StudioProMacSigned.pkg

best regards
