New features and suggestions / Support for RTSP protocol for webcam object
« on: November 13, 2013, 02:05:32 AM »
Hi,

It would be great if you could have a video component that supports the RTSP protocol so I could give it a URL like: rtsp://10.20.55.53:554/live1.sdp
to get the live feed from a camera.

All the components now only works via http.

cheers for the great work,
Jonas

SignagePlayer / Re: getting rid of scroll bars on embedded player?
« on: March 21, 2012, 04:10:44 PM »
Just a thought, I've not tried it, but have you tried setting your <div> to the size of the iframe or just a bit smaller in width with a hidden overflow to hide the scroll bars?

Problem sloved.

Used the overflow: hidden; property on the DIV tag and made the Iframe larger then the div so the scroll bars was outside of the visable area.

SignagePlayer / getting rid of scroll bars on embedded player?
« on: March 13, 2012, 04:01:47 PM »
Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the scrollbars on the embedded player?

I've tried everything...

Now the Screen is actually smaller then then iframe it's embedded in, and still I get those anoing scrollbars.

Wanted to have a small preview screen on my website, so I build a dummy site (www.jocit.net)
but I can't get rid of the scrollbars on the iframe.

I can only conclude that there must be a minimum screen size in the SignageStudio, as the embedded screen i much larger then it actually is in Signage studio.

The actual screen size in SignageStudio is now down to 220 x 90
The embedded html looks like this:

Code: [Select]
<div>
             <IFRAME ID="frm" SRC="http://mercury.signage.me/WebService/SignagePlayerApp.html?eri=f7bee07a7e79c8f1d7951b4d24de4713c22f16&playerParams=13799e708000050f9ab8a92feddd197883ccdf47&banner=1" MARGINWIDTH="0" MARGINHEIGHT="0" FRAMEBORDER="0" SCROLLING="NO" style="overflow:hidden" seamless="seamless"

      WIDTH="238" HEIGHT="105">

    </IFRAME>
    </div>

Anyone knows of a trick to get rid of the scrollbars?

Kind Regards,
Jonas

Problem solved.

It can not be done.

I was trying to install on a small embedded devise that runs Ubuntu 10.04 LTS neatly, but the SOC system runs un a nonstandard chipset meaning that it does not use the full i686 but instead a smaller version at that is the reason you can not install Adobe Air as some of the processor instructions are not pressent.

« on: February 29, 2012, 01:58:31 PM »
Anyone have an idea about how best to make an easy Image slideshow?

I have some users that are not techsavy so something along the line as "drop your images here and it just runs"

cheers,
Jonas

Hi,

I hope someone have an idea.

I have downloaded the AdobeAIRInstaller.bin from Adobes website.
I've chmod'ed it to 777 but when I try to run it I just get "Illegal instruction"
tried running it as the normal user and as root (sudo)

And I can't get on with installing the player before Air is installed.

Any ideas?

Kinde regards,
Jonas Christoffersen

So in other words...

for now we can continue on linux, but have to start thinking of migrating to a windows platform.  :-[
