since we are still in the process of stabilizing the servers and services so you will notice certain services has been disabled.  web preview is one of those feature our developers are still trying to stabilized.  for the meantime, if you are using Studio Pro, you can use its built in Full Screen Preview instead

Please let us know once you have mitigated the attack so we can update our network and our customers.

all account should now be up and running so if your customer is having issues logging in or stations does not restart correctly (even if after manually rebooting), please join us on chat for quicker response and to be able to troubleshoot the issue better

make sure that all power saving/sleep functions has been disabled on your device.  are you using wifi?

studio gets status of the player from the server and commands are sent to the server and in turn sent to the player so if the player shows red, then we cannot send commands to the player as RED indicates that the player is not connected to the server.

it would be best that you join us on chat http://chat.digitalsignage.com while you are on site so we can troubleshoot the issue better.  this looks like a firewall issue

Our servers has been under a denial of service (DOS) attack since mid Friday and we are struggling to contain the attack as there are multiple servers being simultaneously attacked. As of currently, the devs have put up measures to at least minimize the impact of the attack and are slowly bringing the servers up one by one. Rest assured that the devs are doing their utmost best to address this issue and we apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused.

I ve got the same problem. i found your post and i installed the 6.3 version. so far so good but if i add videos it doesnt shows other channels anymore. the same campaign on the 6.2 version works perfectly. or it is a android 9 problem or its on the 6.3 apk?

please take note of the following:
- snapshot on android devices does not show videos for android versions 4.4.2 onwards since the texture context had changed over android version. on version 6, videos will show in snapshot if Texture Video is enabled on the videos' properties. note however that not all android device supports this property since not all manufacturers adhere to openGL standards.  to put it simply, if Texture Video does not work, your device is not compatible with our platform.
- android uses linux kernel and the newer devices do not use build.prop where android player software used to pick up the android version from.  this is in no way critical to the operation of the device or software so may not be address.
- power saving options using Station setting is specifically for windows only - android devices can only use Monitor option

as far as officially releasing version 6.3 goes, we have been distributing this version and it has been deemed stable thus far so it is safe to say that 6.3 is currently our official release.

StudioLite can be downloaded directly from GitHub With git you will be able to easily update to the latest version of StudioLite as well as take advantage Angular CLI which is included in the bundle

currently the application should run under:

    typescript 2.4
    node 6.x

to install and host:

npm install -g npm (this will ensure npm 5.4.2 >)

also note that the dependencies and their version are listed in the dependencies section of package.json. i would suggest that you consult your developer who has nodejs/angular framework development experience
