for all 3 questions, you will write your own installer that launches our installer after which your installer will then replace the program icon.  its actually more of a "hack" and its best left to more experienced developers who can write patch programs.

the latest version of signage studio no longer shows digitalsignage logo nor company name and simply shows blank. it is only after you logged in the first time do you see logo and company or ours if its a free account.  the player never had issue since it only use splash screen set in white label and this is immediately pulled when you register the player.

if the issue is you want it immediately right after installing, there is no solution to this unless you create your own installer

it would be best if you can call the manufacturer of your TV for support. in the SHARP LC-70LE650U manual, it says it should be able to support PC input in HDMI 1 port and it also mentions that you can attach DVD and Blueray players.  their support may have better experience with their TV model with various devices

for the current version of web studio which uses flash, we will no longer do any fixes on it due to flash's demise this year. we will be releasing an entirely new studio targeted this mid year and we will be announcing this via mass email

2 things:
1. after adding, you must save - its under File menu, Save/Upload menu item
2. web studio currently has issues saving so it would be best to use the desktop software instead

are you using the browser or webkit component? and are you using windows as your player?

one way to kill processes is to use TASKKILL command.  at the end of the timeline, add an external app component - in AppName, specify C:\WINDOWS\System32\taskkill.exe then in Command Line, specify /IM NWJS.EXE.

if the code you are referring to is the code found in Branding menu, said page require Flash in order to work.  note that Flash is disabled by all browsers as it is nearing its End of Life.

the developers are working on a new version that will no longer use Flash and may be released at the middle of this year.  it will be built upon the foundation made available in https://github.com/born2net/msgetstarted

an alternative is to use Chrome instead of Firefox.  Chrome has command line switches that allows you to open the browser window in full screen or if you wish to cover a screen division. the latter however will still show borders and a title bar but no menus, toolbars nor toolbars.

the App Name would simply be: C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe
if you are using Windows x64, use: C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe

for full screen use the following format in the Command Line: --kiosk "http://www.digitalsignage.com"
for use with screen division use this format: --app="http://www.digitalsignage.com"
