SignageStudio / Remote values password unhided

I have been testing the Remote Values Queing as instructed in the video.
But I have seen that the user password can be seen showing source code in the browser.

Do we need to create a special user for managing the Remote values?

Yesterday I set a TeamViewer session to the remote PC and wrote the router's user and password  that my customer gave in the login window tha appears.
It seems to be working now.
My customer told me that some weeks ago their ISP changed the router for a new one.
Maybe there was the problem.

Are you running your system with wireless or ethernet?
ETHERNET

What type of connection do you have to your ISP? (T circuit, DSL, Dialup, Cable, Fios)
DSL

Based on both of your issues, it is your router asking for the credentials, and has nothing to do with MediaSignage. You system is going out to their site and your router is saying it needs authentication to access the internet to get to that site. If you are running DSL, these typically require a username and password for your ISP to access the internet. There have been issues with Viruses/Malware mimicking the same issue. Please run a scan on your systems. I highly recommend using Malwarebytes as an additional tool and should be run in Safe Mode.
It had not happen before, and I have just opened ports 336 and 80 in the router trying to fix the problem

This is the only thing I can think of as to why your router would be asking for credentials. If it was not your router, I would suggest adding medissignage to the Trusted Sites area in IE, if that is what you are using. I guess it couldn't hurt anyway.
And I don´t know what user and pass I need for it. Would the router access user and pass work?

but got no response from support.
The windows security level is lowest possible.
I've changed the Player PC and the new one (that was working right at my office) gets the same error at the customér's place.

I was thinking that was because of some RSS feeds I'm using and I disabled them, but it is still showing the error

I told support about it but got no solution

I've just logged using SignageStudio Web version and it works fine
With SignageStudio Desktop maybe it happens because I'm using version 4.10.14 beta

When creating scenes, I first select the scene size (width & height) and when I try to drag a resource into the scene the "available" space for dragging the resourde is 500px right to where it should



I want to place the resource in the top left corner, but the studio doesn´t allow me to do it
It has been happening from some time and I think it must be a bug

Creating a new package in the local ads for showing only during next Christmas Holidays, I've seen that after selecting start and end dates in the date selectors, the dates are not shown correctly.
11\14\2012 and 0\6\2013 do not seem to be correct date formats (backlash instead of slash and 0 for january)



Also, the length of the Content's names are a bit short, if the name is FelizNavidad_2012 the name is not totally shown

I have SignageStudio version 4.10.8 and SignagePlayer 4.0.100 (Windows) and 4.0.105 (Android) but my SignageStudio does not show any Proof of Play statistics
I've downloaded SignagePlayer beta 4.10.8 and now I'm receiving my first statistics.

In version 4.0.100 fonts are not working as they should  :-[
When I select a font in the SignageStudio and looks Ok, it not always look fine in the SignagePlayer. Specially when using bold or italic
Player works changing fonts to Arial, Verdana, ...
Sometimes the same font works with some font sizes and doesn't with other sizes

When I make a 10sec timeline and insert a player (image, video, ...) in that timeline, usually the image is 5sec long.
If I want to make it longer up to 10sec, I click on right edge of the player and drag to the right.
Well, all I get when I arrive to the right limit is 9sec (always 1sec less than I need)
In the end, I have to fix it selecting the Player properties -> duration
As I can remember, in version 3 it was working right. Is that in version 4 a bug?

SignageStudio / Scene component names can't be changed

With version 3 of the SignageStudio, when I made a new scene, I could assign meaningful names to each component.
With version 4, all weather components are named "Weather item"  and I can't change them to "Today max", Today min", Tomorrow pict" and similar
As it is a useful thing, can developers give back this possibility?

SignagePlayer / Re: Android Signage Player for mini pc UG802

Today I've just updated my mediaDROID ZX to version 4.0.98
Adobe AIR is 3.5.0.600
The scenes with color distortion are working Ok now
and the SignageStudio shows the correct version 4.0.98

If you read it again, I'm talking about a possible error in YOUR webpage

What video format should I use for best results?
The recommended video format is 460P or lower resolution.


I´ve been searching for 460P and found no standard video format. Maybe it's an error and you want to say 480p
In that case please correct it

Users are being very patient with MS (launch dates, bugs, ...) and we don't deserve such answers

I've seen that the mediaDROID SX model http://www.digitalsignage.com/html/mediadroid_sx.html has dissapeared from http://www.digitalsignage.com/html/mediabox_models.html page

Does it mean that the low end mediaDROID SX player will not be available?
