New features and suggestions / Google Drive Component Modification

Google Drive and Dropbox is a great component for clients that add content to their campaign themselves with a simple drag and drop.
 
Some of these are on an internet plan and have seen their data usage increase and some were charged more over usage. I know that the concept was the live up to date for these components to be effective, but some of our clients use this only on a daily or even a weekly update.
 
I was wondering if it is possible to add a Minute Refresh option to the component like the RSS feed has. Either with a toggle to be on/off then selects the minute interval or just the minute interval and 0 will mean off and poll as usual.

I think this will would be a nice option for these components and hopefully be considered.

Interesting. I was wondering if anyone had a ROM created. I know that DS is using their own for the devices that they sell. Do you mind sharing a little more information about this and what devices you are doing this on. I am in Canada and have to purchase local boxes because of the dollar value and fees. They have the same specs as DS, but have failed on some campaigns. We are now switching to Windows devices and have had no problems as of yet. They cost double of what the Android devices are.

Hello,

I am just starting out and based in Alberta Canada. I am trying to come up with a pricing structure for hosts, advertiser only, and so on.

I know this is more complex based upon each end users situation. I am just looking for a base to start with.

I also know this is a lot to ask as this is what sets competing companies apart.

I appreciate any help/guidance on this.

Thank you for the feed back. This is a Media box unit specs. But nice to know about the kiosk side and the affordability. Being in Canada prices are a lot higher and especially with the lower CAD and import and duties to get units from the US. I will do more research on the 3736F as it does come with the 2GB & 32GB standard.

Hello,

I am in Alberta Canada and am looking to alternatives for local android boxes. I know that the mediadroidx that DS sells is tested. With shipping, duties, dollar conversion and all it adds up.

So I am looking for other units and tweaks that others are using successfully. I am using one that the specs are equal to DS mediadroidx unit, but and swf files (small ones) are very choppy and lag the campaign. With out it works fine.

Any help or direction would be great.

I am still looking for anyone that has a kitkat 4.4 with flash working. I feel that this is the problem as all other features of the player works fine.

Is anyone else have problems using swf files in studio. Mine is very choppy and I contacted support to only have them tell me that I need a better device. I know that flash is not supported on 4.4 and was wondering if someone has a work around.
