I am designated as an ADMIN on another client FB account and I log into that account using my own personal FB login. I have a choice to edit my own pages or as the ADMIN of the client account. I followed your steps to create a FB ad by opening my client FB account first. When I get to I try to login and get the attached FB notification. It will not let me login as the client admin. Therefore, when I proceed to enter the APP ID after creating the FB scene and setup FB player I only get my home page FB items and not the client FB items. I'm confused about how to setup FB to let me configure apps for my client account or get the studio to configure my client FB items for display.

We are located in Santa Rosa, CA (North Bay). We are presently working with hair salons and health clubs. We are offering a hybrid model that is ad supported and proprietary. Contatct me, if interested

SignageStudio / Ad Engine Rates
« on: June 05, 2012, 11:55:04 AM »
Sure would be nice if rates could be assigned to a specific media size and duration. I have 3 channels for advertising, but I cannot find a way to utilize the MS Ad Engine with my campaigns and specific Ad Rate Card. I charge for the size of the AD 1920x1080, 1280x720, 550x720 and the corresponding display time for the presentation i.e. 15, 30, 60 sec. That's nine different rates based on a monthly rate, all playing on the same campaign and station player. Any suggestions? An additional dilemma is, if I don't use the Ad Engine rate structure, I can't get play reports.

New features and suggestions / Play Reports/Audits

I don't understand why MS only has a proof of play for the ad engine? I believe we should be able to report play audits for any media in the time line.

New features and suggestions / Content Distribution
« on: October 17, 2011, 11:35:10 AM »
Seems like MS is missing an opportunity to make money? If they developed a way for resellers like myself to share content on the MS servers it would be another incentive and add value to the app. We just need a way to share,  protect and monetize the proposition.

Imagine how much easier it would be to exploit vertical markets  for users and re-sellers of MS with a general and specialized content library. As you know, relevant content is essential to DS success. This is something, I believe,  MS has tried to do with their free business templates and the common folder. What incentive do we have to share our content in the FREE common folder?

Is it possible that MS could develop a private folder that has a payment gateway that allows re-sellers to subscribe and resale/redistribute content-as-a-service (CaaS) to their clients?

A feature like this, would create a recurrent income stream for everyone.

SignageStudio / Re: Video Wall Support
« on: September 28, 2011, 09:27:08 AM »
My question is specifically about support and screen division for a video wall not how many total screens can MS support.

If the max screen division size is 4096 wide that would mean the maximum size of a video wall matrix, for example, using 46" LCD displays set to a HD resolution of 1920 x 1080, would translate to a maximum sized video wall matrix, supported by MS 3.1, is 2 x 2 = (2*1920)+(2x1080) = 3840 x 2160. So, in that case the new release 3.1 with 4096 x 4096 maximum screen division pixel size would display a single content screen to cover the 2 x 2 matrix described above but not a 3 x 3 or 4 x 4 matrix?

Can MS support spec hardware for video walls;  can the mediaBOX support a 2 x 2 or 3 x 3 video wall? Matrox manufactures video boards for video walls but it appears they are designed for larger cpu cases;

In the tutorial for "Multiple Screens" we are instructed only about two screens for a  1 x 2 matrix with unequal screen resolution settings. Are there any plays for a new tutorial demonstrating support for a 2 x 2, 3 x 3, 4 x 4 video wall matrix?

I also checked out, it has a lot of helpful features. However, its not cheap; about $1000 for the digital signage version.

SignageStudio / Video Wall Support

Will the new MS Studio 3.X release support multiple matrix video walls with full matrix screen divisions; with greater  than 2800 Pixel screen divisions? i.e. 2x2, 3x3 etc.? Will MS spec the player hardware solution for this large LCD display video wall matrices, if they are supported by MS Studio?

I found a Wildform Flair to be extremely versatile. It produces flash swf files. Its much easier to
learn and use than CS Flash. Check it out here:

Presently we are on release 2.2.1088? What is the ETA for 3.2 and the EA capability? This is a show stopper for
the healthcare industry, if it is done right. Various types of emergency codes are initiated via the PA system everyday in hospitals. This is also a way to reduce the noise in hospitals. It would be especially cool if there was an iPhone and Android app to go with it!  ;)

Is there any possibility that your developers would consider offering rss feed displayed in a "flip mode" as compared to the horiz. and vert. "scroll mode?" You can see examples of this on FOX Financial and CNN and many other major news networks. It is proven to be more pleasing and readable to the viewer than scrolling.

It would be nice if you offered reseller a white label brochure and html snippets for the mediaBox with good graphics and images.

SignageStudio / Flash SDK
« on: December 25, 2010, 03:01:38 AM »
I have watched the flash SDK tutoiral several times. Also, have reviewed previous inquires about developing flash swf "templates"  using external xml files. It seems to me we never get a clear answer from the tutor about how we can develope swf files that can be "devloped to your specifications" as stated in the video. How can we develop and embed our own swf files and link the variable fields to the studio custom input fields?

I for one need a simple method for my clients to be able to just fill in the blanks on the templates I create for them. I can't expect them to learn all the aspects of the Studio. I just want to catagorize a bunch of templates so they can choose them and  easily change a name or picture and clcik ok.
