SignagePlayer / Cost/Licensing Question
« on: July 13, 2011, 06:17:56 AM »
I'm a little confused about the free MediaSignage account we have.  We are only using one PC/screen right now but when I considered adding a second it was not clear to me if I would be able to do so with the desktop player.  Some portions of the site say unlimited screens, but then I found this page:
which implies that I will have to pay $4.95 per month per additional PC Player.

Can someone please clarify how this works?

SignagePlayer / How to get started with Webplayer?
« on: July 11, 2011, 05:11:42 AM »
This may be a really silly question but...

I'd like to have a copy of what is running on our digital sign playing on a page on our website and it sounds like the WebPlayer would do this....but I cant find anything on how to make that happen.  Is there some flash code somewhere our site would call out to or what?

SignageStudio / Video Length "-1", Width/Height "0,0"
« on: June 22, 2011, 08:24:09 AM »
I've uploaded several videos to my resource pool and the video length field seems buggy.  On initially viewing/previewing the uploaded content the video length reads as "-1" and dimensions are "0".  If I would switch to anything else (Screens for example) and then come back to Resources, eventually all showed their true length and size, BUT now some are back to showing the length as -1 and seem stuck as such.

They all still play fine but the ones which are stuck with length at -1 don't get their proper duration set when placed on a timeline.  I know I can stretch them out but then I have to keep separate notes on how long they are which is a pain.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
