SignagePlayer / Mac Mini won't unregister
« on: October 15, 2012, 10:40:13 AM »
I have a mac mini powerpc processor era 2006 that was trying to automatically update we have gotten that to stop but now when it reboots it goes into an old campaign.  The station will not delete from the studio and uninstalling and reinstalling the player is not working.  I have cleared the cache and cookies.  Any other ideas?

I am running older mac mini's that have a powerpc processor not an intel processor that is why they are not compatible with AIR 3.4.

The reason I can not upgrade to 4.0 is, as I stated in a previous post, I am running powerpc processor mac mini's which are not compatible with Adobe AIR 3.4.  I need to just stick with the signage player I had, but I am not longer able to because it keeps auto updating.  Is there a link or a file I could get with the previous signage player?

My mac mini is still trying to auto update.  It is like once it tried to update and couldn't it won't go back.  I have no way to get a screen shot on this machine.

Is there anyway to keep it from updating at all.  I have older powerpc mac mini's and I can not upgrade to AIR 3.4. Everything was working fine until the automatic update.  Please help me reverse this.

SignageStudio / HTML Page
« on: July 06, 2012, 05:27:34 AM »
I have an HTML page that is not loading.  It is a Google calendar embedded in a Google site.  It works ok within the web preview, but not on my players which run on powerpc mac mini's.  The title loads for the calendar but the calendar never loads.  Any ideas?  Let me know if you need more info.

I have followed the video on instructions on installing on a mac.  I am still getting the install.sh error when opening the player.  Any ideas?

Starvue,

Do you have the code you used?  I would like to do the same thing you did.
