Dear Admin,
As of last week, Google Docs no longer displays (it used to) after plugging in Google Drive directly in the HTML component, I get the old fashioned "This page requires a modern browser" in order to display.

Here's a sample page to test:
docs.google.com/presentation/d/1RjK8Nr4lSiNRgVZZQlBlFqyxC3650U2cRGmgv0BQTgA/pub?start=true&loop=true&delayms=5000

Do you know if the HTML5 component and webkit/air sdk will be updated to correct this issue? If so, when?

Bumping this again. No word in two months.
Why won't the HTML5 component display embedded Google Slides Slideshows properly?

One great solution we've been using to allow users to easily edit and update templated content for signage studio is through the use of Google Slides.
Here's an example of a simple slideshow that I schedule from the web. (only crummy thing, it's limited to a 4:3 aspect ration at the moment).

[just learned that I cannot post external links]

Anyhoo, one thing that's bothering me at the moment - this slideshow presents perfectly in all browsers without issue. In SignageStudio however (and SignagePlayer), the slideshow doesn't render the text properly (it looks like a fuzzy, rasterized image). Transitions don't occur, rather it just switches between slides, and animations don't work.

If the HTML5 component truly supports HTML5 and javascript, could there be a solution for this? Using Google Docs as a centralized repository will make things very easy for our rollout at our University. Hopefully someone has a solution.

I'm bumping this one to the top again. Since being forced to 4.0, we have the exact same issue. TEDTalks MediaRSS does not display (despite working previously and when first inserted in the Scene Editor). Can someone please respond?

We already have clients complaining about white screens and slow transitions after the forced 4.0 upgrades. We use our televisions for displaying video content that's larger than 10MB (lectures that run closer to 200-300MB). I'm all for a little confusion if it means I don't have to get rid of my signage system and start over.

General discussion on the mediaCLOUD / MediaRSS - TEDTalks

Hello!
We've been using signagestudio for well over a year now, and one of our staple online content pieces, TEDTalks, suddenly no longer displays within signage studio, or as part of SignagePlayer.

The link to the MediaRSS is here:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/TedtalksHD

The address has not changed, and as far as I can tell, the format has been the same for over a year: any thoughts on getting this to work properly again?

We're based out of Hamilton Ontario and offer a number of digital signage solutions.
What can I assist you with?

The HTML Component is great, we use it for just about everything. I'd like to see the ability to set a zoom level for the component so webpage content (particularly text) can be rendered larger on 1080p monitors.
