Tested it with a Samsung Note 9  running version 8.0 as well and didn't get any errors, looks to be something with your devices firmware configuration.

From the sound of it, the player is losing the resolution of the TV when you turn off the tv, that is why the controls are showing when you turn it on again. The only solution to that is to restart the player everytime you turn the TV off and on, or login to the studio and update the player everytime you turn the TV off and on. This will sync the player with the correct running resolution of the TV everytime so the Aver Media app menu is hidden.

error : User does not have privilege to add records in table event_params
I've set it up, but there's only an e-mail entry

The different color (themes) for weather connects to different caching servers, that is why they are not exactly the same, the weather data is updated every 4 hours. So depending on when your data was cached, it might be off by a few degrees from time to time.

The reasoning behind having different servers is due to the large volume of data requests. If we were to use a single server it will quickly be bogged down to a crawl till it crashes due to the number of requests our weather data servers are handling.  Imagine having more than 60 thousand request every few secs.  So different servers for different themes was the solution. Thats why you get different data from time to time between the 2 servers.

yes we are aware of this, it is due to an expired license which will be renewed this week.
for now, change the date of your PC 2 months back and install the .air.
this will be fixed in the following few days.

work around would be run a ext app command loading a batch file with the curl command on a different channel that is synced with the video you want to play back.
