Title: Transitions work on desktop preview, not on actual screens

Our screens are split up into different sections, and we have specific transitions for each one (different from overall campaign).

When we view the campaign on the desktop in preview mode, the transitions are there and work correctly. However, when we assign the campaign to the actual screen, the transitions no longer show up. Instead it's just this abrupt change from slide to slide.

Anybody else having this issue or know how to resolve it? Hopefully it's just a simple setting that was left unchecked?

are you referring to the transition pool? or the soft transition that is the default of all players? also what player device are you using?

if you are using player version prior to version 6, you are using transition pool and your items with transition has a background image, double click on said image and enable Use GPU.

All of our signs are using version 5.0.81.

Not all of the screen divisions are using images. For one in particular, it is a scene that uses a JSON component that pulls from a Google Calendar.

There wasn't an option to enable "Use GPU" when double clicking on any item (image or otherwise).

in the case of transitions, Use GPU option tells the player to use the hardware gpu for surface texture processing.  if enabled, the GPU "cuts out" areas on the image where transition is occuring.  where exactly is the image? is it on the scene behind the JSON items ?

it may be best if you could join us on chat so that the support personnel can take a look at the campaign setup.
