Title: Image quality issues - very variable
Post by: kitcraft on October 17, 2018, 01:13:40 AM
Hi, I'm having image quality issues on both Android and Windows players - I am getting lots of jaggies on angled lines in photos. I have tried reducing the photo size to the resolution of the device (1920x1080 - originally 5611xwhatever) and this improves it slightly but still way too jagged. Not all the images do this BUT, trying the same images on a competitor's software gives perfect results with excellent anti-aliasing on angled lines.

Anybody got any ideas? I am using the basic free version of the software but trying to decide which professional Sign solution I should go with. At the moment, this one is my preferred solution if I can solve this rendering issue.

the recommended practice is to match the resolution of the image to the resolution of the screen division where the image will be assigned.  if your screen division is 1920x1080, the image should also have 1920x1080 resolution.

may we ask what version of the studio and player you are using?
