Title: How can I display content on 2 TV's (1 in Landscape 1 in portrait)
Post by: Regener8 on July 21, 2015, 10:24:16 AM

Will I need 2 MediaBox media players or can 1 MediaBox drive both TV's 1 in landscape and the other in portrait mode and if so
how is this setup ?
Do I create a screen division for both TV's ?

Thanks

I have not tried that with this, but yes, two different screen divisions and one player, assuming you are doing a video wall effect, should do the trick assuming you are using a windows player.

Thanks Criley for response.
Yes would be using windows running on a mediaBox which has 2 hdmi outs.
So in windows I would see two screens in horizontal mode but in the studio I guess I would create 2 screen divisions 1 horizontal and  1 vertical or would I have to rotate 90 degrees ?

Did you ever figure out how to accomplish what you wanted?

Most good video cards will allow you to specify the orientation for each of your monitors, so for instance my Nvidia card I can tell it to have Monitor "A" be landscape and Monitor "B" be portrait. Some screens will automatically tell windows to make the change for you if you were to rotate it.
