Title: Support for Local Files in HTML Component
Post by: justadsguy on August 25, 2014, 05:22:49 PM
For offline use, it's impossible to use the HTML Component because it automatically adds "http" to anything that's put in the URL.

Since http is not needed for a local file, I am asking that this 'auto-add' be removed.

Loading firefox is an option, but only needed due to the 'auto-add' in this system.

I recommend install a local proxy server and | or web server for HTTP / HTML that's local

If I use firefox, I don't have to install a local proxy server.

But, I would like to use the web component because it's easier.

Unfortunately, it automatically adds the HTTP to any content put in the URL field.

If I install a local proxy server on the media player, would you suggest I still use the Web Component? It won't allow a local HTML file call
