Title: Watchdog - will it restart my pc or player if connection does not work

I started my player with no connection on purpose and the player did not start the presentation from the cache.  When I reconnected the internet the watchdog app just cycled through ping, restarting player, restart pc.  What was it doing, nothing happened as far as I could tell.  There was a live internet connection and the station appeared to be playing from signage studio.

Just so I understand,
You are saying that the AIRPlayer did not start when the internet connection was OFF ?
And, everything was working ok when the Internet was ON ?

The air player started without a connection but there was no content playing on the screen.  When I plugged my router back in to give it a live connection (confirmed by opening a browser) it still just cycled through those messages and never started playing the content.

What kind of content are you running ?
RSS is still not cached in this version of AIRPlayer.
We will cache it in future releases ...
