Does the mediaframe work with both Windows as well as android ? Is it IR based ?

SignagePlayer / Proof of play

I went through the Adnet platform videos and its a great solution for the OOH vendors. Unfortunately i am not an OOH vendor , I manage customers screens with their Messages. The customer expects a report from me that how many times every message either a video or audio has played in that screen this we used to get it done using earlier version of proof of play. Now that proof of play is totally gone.
For example i have one timeline where i populate 10 scenes and the scenes has to appear one after another based on the scene time. I used to create proof of play for each scene and get the reports. Now i am totally in loss on how do i give reports. I tried to check for creating ad assets but it does not allow me to put scenes as packages
I understand that giving great features are good but some of the basics need to be maintained.

Studio (Legacy / SignStudio) / Previous version gets downloaded

When we download the studio from this link :http://galaxy.signage.me/code/install/exe/5.0/CloudSignageStudioSetup.exe
Its the older version that downloads and when we use that the save button does not work, this is a new problem that has come up unless we have the latest studio the save doesnt work. And for the latest to get downloaded we need to change the UAC settings. Is it dangerous to disable UAC settings?

For media touch do build
1. Feature where we can collect visitor details or feedbacks like name etc and ensure it will work offline also. Do not make it complicated to put up a server with JSON etc
2.Scrolling features and image zooming and pinching
3. Wayfinding would be great

SignagePlayer / Onscreen Keyboard for kiosk

I am using a windows8.1 8" tablet as a kiosk. I am using forms to enter data , unfortunately i am unable to get the onscreen keyboard automatically to enter. Does anyone know how to get the keyboard when data entry is needed

We have seen online ad networks like Pubmatic, Openx are taking huge ad inventory for the traditional digital ads on mobile and desktop. Has anyone tried integrating these adnetworks on digital signage displays. Since these ad networks have most of the advertising clients it would make easier for us to generate revenue if we could sell the space to them.

Open source Digital Signage / Will studiolite become the default version in future?

I have got used to using the studio pro.. Sometimes shifting is a mindset problem.. I would like to know is the new studio lite version going to be the main focus so that we will start moving into that.. Or will the old studio version still remain for future??

Open source Digital Signage / Location based ads

For the location based ads a raspberrypi and GPS module is being used for communicating with the player. If we are using a PC as the signage player, can we connect a GPS USB logger to do the same. Is it essential that we need a raspberry pi to send the events? Can the signage player itself send an event using the USB logger

I have a requirement where i need to run a movie and trigger ads based on GPS. My problem is the movie has to restart from the same place as the break as happened after the ads are run. Will it run that way or while during the ads are getting played would the movie have played in the background.

I have been trying to open Studio pro accounts using studio lite it just doesnt start. Once or twice i have seen it opening up and gives a statement that only station view will work, i just need the station view to work but atleast it should open. If we create a studiolite account it works prefectly

Is there any plan for giving the feature of scheduling the content download at times allocated. Most of the vendors seems to be providing this. Lot of commercial establishments would not like to download the content during their working hours. I had lost a major client only because of this feature because they could not afford to give the bandwidth during working hours.

I have been testing the Intel 3735F Atom quadcore processor tablet with win8.1, Mem2GB and 32GBDiskspace . I can see that the processor is not able to cope up with collection component. The player stops and reboots. If anyone is going to use this tablet for kiosk they should be careful as kiosks will need Collection component. Normal timeline based digital signage will work perfectly even thought the tablet gets heated up pretty well. For a 100$ Tablet thats a good deal

I am using Windows tablet for digital signage, Is there anyway to disable the windows button that is on the tablet below the screen??.. If some one touches that it moves away from the desktop.. Searched on web but unable to get a solution.
