General discussion on the mediaCLOUD / Re: Scrolling text

Hello,

You can smooth it out using Flash CS3 by doing one of the following:

1. Increace the Frames Per second of the Flash ( try 24 FPS )
2. Slow down the scroll speed when creating Flash content ( Timeline FPS in Flash CS3 )
3. Increase your CPU by getting a faster PC

In Flash 10 Adobe has now included Hardware acceleraion which should make Flash content run MUCH smoother but we have not yet to try it.

Hope this helps,

Sean.

Hi Jay,

The Scala solution would require you to use prop. Scala hardware with a service contact.
Our solution is Free for 1 license and you can use any PC and any monitor.

Scala does offer extended feature list which we do not but rest assure we are working hard to bring these to you ASAP.
Our next major release 1.2 will have lots of new stuff including RSS and more.

Please wait till January for our reseller program.

Regards,

Sean.

Hello,

The SWFs you uploaded do not run even if you just double click on them in windows.
I took one of your SWFs and opened it and recompiled it using Flash CS3 and now it works.

I uploaded it to your account as Test353.swf

Before you upload SWFs just make sure they run ok when you double click on them in Windows.

Also, please note that although in most cases Flash written in Actionscript 2 might work, we do not really support it.
We only support the new version of Flash which is Flash written in Actionscript 3.

I recommend doing pure animation in Flash CS3 and if you are gonna code stuff, do it in Actionscript 3 and export it to Flash 9 and above ( not the old version Flash 8.X or below )

Hope this help,

Sean.

We are working on a scheduler that will give you full control over the schedule timelines ( days, weeks, months, repeats etc ... )
We have the feature 70% complete and hope to have it ready by the end of the year.

New features and suggestions / Re: Philips WOWvx displays
« on: October 02, 2008, 12:15:16 PM »
The beauty of our system is that it is powered by Adobe Flash and as soon as Adobe starts supporting 3D ( should be in the up coming release 10 which also includes hardware acceleration) our system will support it as well and since Phillips WOWvx claims they support industry standards, compatibility should not be a problem.
