Have been running several installs on shield tv's... just setting up 2 new and have the message "This app was built for an older version of Android and may not work properly' when installing Watchdog. Main app wont launch automatically, but will open if forced?

if you are getting the No Device message, this would mean you are using mediadroid-x pro.

use the following apk's instead:
Signage Player: https://galaxy.signage.me/Code/Install/apk/6.3/CloudSignagePlayer.apk
Signage Watchdog: https://galaxy.signage.me/Code/Install/apk/watchdogandroid.apk

make sure to launch Signage Watchdog at least once. as this is the app that launcher the player on power on and restarts the player on abnormal termination

Hi, I reinstalled Android in one Media Droid-X but i have some problems.
I installed Medriadroid app from Play Store and logged in with my DigitalSignage account.
1) The Mediadroid APP dont start when I turn on the device, I need to click in the APP, but this is a big problem.
2) When APP start, there is a text message "No Device" and I need to press "OK" to take out that message.
Can someone help me to make this device start Mediadroid APP automaticaly and take out this message?

yes we are continuously working on the newest platform and have already released a beta preview of our new Sign Studio.  to try it out, create a new account at http://sign.signage.me - do not use existing Signage Studio (which is now called Legacy Studio) and Studio Lite accounts as the new Sign Studio account structure is different.

Good day

I have 12 android 11 TV's in 4 different areas of a building, they are all connected to the same network switch via the Ethernet ports using Cat6 cable and have internet connectivity. Is it possible to have different content playing on each tv and what do I need to make this work.

I solved this for me.  The droid kept reverting back to Jan 1, 2017 as the date.  Completely ignoring the NTP server.  That'd cause a TLS warning due to droid seeing a cert that has a valid date far into the future.  I set the date/time manually and it's good now.

Edit:  Sort of solved.  I know what the problem is.  However, whenever the Mediadroid-X reboots it resets the date/time.

I have the same issue with one of the MediaDroid-X I have deployed.  It started throwing up the TLS warning when the player loads.  I've nuked the cache on the player, turned off notifications for Cert Installer.  If you ever get this resolved can you please let me know what you did.  Thanks.
