There is no help. I tried everything like on tutorial but not working. How common is to use VLC Player on your signage presentation?

Hi,
I tested VLC to play DVDs. What is it you need to do?
You must use: External Ap with config below.
App Name: C:\Program Files\videoLan\VLC\vlc.exe ......assuming the software is installed there (Path)
Command Line: -I dummy-quiet dvdsimple://d: --loop
It should play the DVD and restart it (loop) when it ends.
Only problem is it does not Always start automatically with a DVD Change. I have to reboot and then the DVD starts to play. That I think is a lil tedious as Clients wont necessarily want to have to reboot every time.
Hope this helps.
If you find the solution to that Please let me know.
Thanks,
ps. I'm looking for someone who is useing Virtual VCR or just Showing TV on their screen. Anyone?

We have the capability to connect any S-Video, Composite, Component or HDMI / HD source (satellite, cable, security cameras etc) via our PCI-E capture card.
Check this mediaTV link out:

and also be sure to watch this video:

It works GREAT in High Definition 1920x1080
