Hi
I have a problem using signagecontroller. when it starts (whether at windows start or manually) The Windows shutdown dialog appears on the screen. If I close it, it works properly, but I need it doesn't appears any more.
Starting signageplayer I don't have this problem, but I need to use signagecontroler due to the fact that I want to use Powerpoint.
Thanks

Does this happen before you registered the SignagePlayer to your account or after?
-
It's been after. It worked properly with signageplayer, and this wrong behaviour has happened since I switched to signagecontroller.
thanks

Is your Windows none English version?
-
Yes. It's Spanish version.
-
Symlink for program files in SignageController to fix the multi language problem of SignagePlayerRun:
mklink /J "C:\Program Files\SignagePlayer" "C:\Program Files (x86)\SignagePlayer"
-
It doesn't work. Just after the player has started, the shutdown dialog appears. As it used before.

have the same problem, any solutions?

Is your windows 7 an English version?
-
It's happening with all the non-english Windows versions, and can be avoided installing english versions.
But as many of our customers have already non-english Windows installed, you should find a solution making the SignagePlayer compatible with the international versions.
It would be very appreciated by us
P.S. I've tried the mklink /J "C:\Program Files\SignagePlayer" "C:\Program Files (x86)\SignagePlayer" several times and it doesn't always work

If you have a non-english windows 7 machine that is getting a pop-up regarding turning off the computer when the system loads the Signage controller and SignagePlayer at startup on real mode. Just download the file below extract it and add a shortcut of the hidetaskbar.exe to the startup folder.

then reboot
