two possibility that's causing the issue:

1. if you are using a timeline and the index in the sequence is not in order (i.e. index should starts from 0 to n-1  where n is the total number of timelines in the sequence list)
2. the encoding of the video is causing the app to crash - is the video higher than 1920x1080 resolution? is the frame rate and bitrate higher than 24fps 4mbps bitrate? does the video have an audio track?

Hi Everyone

So i have to make 80x screens work on this.

Its for take away shops across my country.  and all I have to do is connect media players to the tv's and play one video file. 

the problem I have is I have downloaded the app on my player, it runs android 10, I uploaded my video and after a while it started to play the menu, the file is a video mp4 format.

the video is about 10seconds long, after the 10 seconds the app closes by itself, my first thought was the app crashes but it only close after the video, not in between, every time the seconds run out the app close.

I'm thinking there is just a setting to put so the video loops over and over but i cannot find such.

Please advise?

Hi All,

I am looking to use an Android player that is running Android 7.1.2. I have seen that the videos in a timeline will stutter and stall. When I set the Texture Video checkbox, I do not see the video at all (just black video). I believe it is a OpenGL / Driver issue. Has anyone had success with an Android 7 player? Does anyone have any solid information about OpenGL or Graphics drivers in Android 7 to help with this issue?

what is the setup of the other units other than the 6 without issue? like are they using wifi or not? how about content like images and videos - are they all of the same resolution, dpi, quality/compression setting (the file size would indicate their differences - for video, divide the file size with the number of seconds).

it looks like it has more than one issue - if the player goes red, it indicates the player is going offline which can be that the content you have may be causing issue. if its toggling between yellow and green, its more likely that its the content also.  we however are not discounting there are issues with the network as well.

Hey! Me and my friends did a video wall project last year. We are total newbies and some things went..not wrong but could have gone better and I wanted to ask this forum if you may have any tips for us, to improve what we already have. We know that you can spend a looot of money on these things but we were on a budget and now we're kind of "suffering the consequences".

So we built a mobile exhibitions space last year including a video wall consisting of six Hisense 70AE7010F TVs (70 inches each). We placed them vertically on three walls in a U-Shape, two on each wall and a company connected them all with a set up of a media player, a LAN switch and each tv had its own receiver where the signal was send to. So the media player split the one video we put in into six pieces.What happened, and what we did not see coming , was, that even though these TVs are 4K we can only show hd on them now and since these are normal TVs and no expensive digital signage displays, I was told afterwards, that the pinq rate is not high enough for everything to look smoothely because you can see a little delay where the tvs touch. This is also something we only noticed after everything was paid for and set up.

Maybe you have some advice for me, is there any way, to improve the quality of the tvs to at least full hd?We sat down again this year and thought maybe there's even a simpler way to do this. Maybe you could export the Video in 6 parts, that will fit the format of each TV on portrait mode. Put a USB flash drive into each TV rotate the video and, I don't know if this is possible, but sync them somehow so you can start each video at the same time?

Do you think, ths idea could work and do you know a way, to sync the TVs, not with them playing the same video but different videos? or do you think we should stick to the first set up or is there a way to improve this set up? if you need more technical details, I could add them later!

We are having an issue with our android players we have several different locations all throughout the united states our Cedar Falls office is our main headquarters we have 6 android players all the same model here and at all of our other locations. The 6 in Cedar Falls work fine but the ones in other cities dont. They are all connected to a password protected guest network. The screen will go black on them and keeps cycling in the studio red, yellow, then green. Keeps showing like it is online, but then goes offline. There is a red eye on we tried to factory reset the device we tried to uninstall the program reinstall it and none of it worked.

Sometimes it says waiting for ping... Trying to connect almost like it is offline but it is online you can connect it. Does anyone know what this could be?

Hi, I'm trying the free version of SignageStudio. When I go to save the changes it tells me that I have to go to my email to activate the account. But in my email address I have not received any activation message.
I would also like to ask you, with the free version can I create my own interactive application, or do I need the paid version?
