Splash Screen
« on: December 28, 2010, 10:35:25 AM »
I see there is a Splash Screen button on the Media Server White-Label application.

However when I try and update the current Media Signage splash screen it doesn't seem to save with my new flash file. Is there any specifics about the replacement flash file that I need to be aware of to get it to save?

Thanks!

The Splash screen right now needs to be a .SWF on the mediaSERVER.
We will also support png and jpg as soon as the next release of the mediaSERVER is out.
Which will also include the 64 bit USB mediaKEY support.

Thank you for your interest in MediaSignage,

Sorry to dredge up an old topic, but do you have any guidelines on creating the SWF for the splash screen? We have created an SWF, but every time I select it in the Reseller interface and click the 'Save' check mark, it just reverts back to the default MediaSignage animation.

Any ideas on what we may be doing wrong?

Is this on the mediaCLOUD 3.X or a private mediaSERVER 3.X?
If server, you need to enable permissions on the server.

You need to add security folders

c:\webRsoucres

Properties > Security tab
For user: Local Service
Edit and add all permissions

Regards,

Sean.

It is a MediaSERVER and your fix solved the issue. Thanks!
