player not starting on machine

I've got the player installed and I see it in my list of stations but it never runs.  I push the play button in the stations interface...nothing.  I try to start the player on the the machine where it is installed by clicking on the shortcut icon..nothing.  Anyone have any ideas how to get the player working on a Windows XP machine?

Now I've got the player running after a reinstall but it is in an endless reboot loop.  How can I get it to stop?  Very annoying...anyone know how I can get back control of my PC?

If I understand your question correctly, here is my answer for you: You won't be able to see your mouse pointer, but left click your mouse and then use the escape button on your keyboard. You should now see the MediaSignage GUI, just close it (X out of it) and the player will close also. If you have the SignageController running you will need to close that also.
