Video Loops Unintentionally
« on: December 05, 2010, 09:50:18 AM »
I have a short timeline consisting of a 34 second SWF (converted PowerPoint) followed by a 9 second video (mp4, h264)

The SWF plays fine but when the succeding video plays, it loops 12 times before returning to the SWF.

This kind of thing will be an absolute show-stopper in doing work for my client.

You must put another resource after the video, otherwise the video will play until the timeline loops and start over.
This is by design, not a bug.

The video is the last resource in the timeline. Shouldn't it play once then return to the beginning of the timeline?

Hi,

I might have the answer...

Double click on the video resource in the timeline and go to the Properties >> Video tab. Uncheck the Auto rewind setting. Also make sure that the Channel options (click on the channel name in the timeline) is set to repeat to fit, otherwise the video will stop at its end until the timeline repeats.

Hope this helps  ;)
