Signage player for android not showing text properly

I have an android device running the Signage player app.
Both on system pages and the signage chanel the text just shows up as x in a box.
To me it looks like an error in the font file, but i have no idea how to correct it.

are you using any styles like Bold, Italics, Underline, etc. ?  cave you tried without any Styles?

may we ask what player software version you are using?

I am also facing this problem some time and most of the time it works great. I remove font style. I want to know what is the reason behind this problem.

each style are separate and for those whose styles do not work on the player means there is no file for said style.
