Play a radio station stream

Looking how I can set up the software to play a radio stream until we have a video that plays on a schedule. Is there a way to do this?

currently, we do no have support for internet radio. if you have a podcast or media rss feed, you can use that instead and use our media rss component

Is it possible to use the ext pgrm to open vlc but make it so after that timeline is done it does not instantly close the VLC media stream?

yes but this feature is windows player only feature. make sure to use common channel if you plan to run it continuously.
