Adding video to timeline causes last image to display too long

We have been using Signage STudio for some time with no real issues. Recently, we decided to add a short video to our still image slide show. It works, but it causes the final image in the show to display for around a full minute (instead of the pre-set 7 seconds). I've tried making the timeline both shorter and longer, but doesn't seem to impact this behavior.  Thanks for any help!

if you have multiple items on your channel, the default behavior is the last one will play until the timeline's completion. if your intent is to repeat all the items in the channel, then you must enable the Repeat to Fit channel property.  this switch tells the player to repeat all items in the channel from the beginning to fill out the rest to the timeline's duration
