Station Connection Status

I don't think that station connection status is accurately reporting station status. I have two Samsung 460pxn displays at my office that power down in the evening and then power on in the morning. They are behind a NAT firewall and I've been monitoring them from home the last three nights.

Night 1: Station 1 reported disconnected, Station2 reported connected
Night 2: Station 2 reported disconnected, Station 1 reported connected
Night 3 (tonight): They are both reporting connected.

Neither of them has been on any of the three nights. I've tried the ping button, but as far as I can tell that's not doing anything.

I will take a look at that ...
Do you allow port 336 outbound traffic ( noticed you said you have a firewall ).

We get station status on port 336 and just wondering if you allow that...

This might not be all your problem. The conbination of the Samsung XPe OS (perhaps with the additon of the AIR layer on top) might be interfering with the ability of the monitor to turn itself off. I also had to disable the native digital signage software that Samsung supplies with the monitor and that might be a factor also.

I'll let you know what it turns out to be.
