images resolution
« on: August 14, 2019, 01:39:53 AM »
I've got problems with resolution of images that I upload. I can see them perfectly in my computer but when I upload to the digital signage they loose a lot of resolution.
I'm trying to upload a png image. But I have the same problem with jpg.
I see that it's imposible to upload in other formats. Is it correct? (Maybe they wouldn't lose so much resolution)
I hope you can help me with this problem, The images should be whatched in a outdoor digital display and they must have the best resolution posible.
Thank you.

the ideal practice is to match the image's resolution with the intended size of the division.  for example, if the division is 1280x720, then the recommended image resolution is 1280x720 as well. image start to pixelate once images is scaled up or down.

if its an outdoor digital display, determine the resolution - having an image that's 16000x9000 will not help if the screen resolution is only 1920x1080

best regards
