Images are bigger then expected
« on: February 01, 2009, 11:26:05 PM »
Hello,

i've installed the 1.0 version of the AIRPlayer this morning and the images inside Flash movies are bigger then expected. I can't figure what is happening.

I've found what is the main problem.

In the Studio application, the width and height of my Flash movies aren't correct. Here's a screenshot:

The values should be 1920 pixels for the width and 930 pixels for height. And i can't edit these values.

What should i do ?

Hello,

That size is the default size that Adobe Flash player recognize the file as being at when uploaded to the system.

However, this does not matter since the resource will always fill the full screen division that assign to.

So, if you screen division is 500x500, that's how big the resource will be stretched to.
And if the resolution of the swf is 500x500 ( or more ) and if the ratio remains the same .. all is well and will look correct.

If you do want to have control over the size of a resource, embed it under a scene using our Editors.

I found out how to use the Editors and the Scenes.

But using the Editors do not resolve the bug. Maybe it's because i work with a too old version of Flash (MX).

The only movie playing well is one with static background and a little text animation. The others have image tweens.

Yes, I did verify there is a problem with the property showing inaccurate values for the size (width / height ).
We will fix it in a day or two.

HOWEVER, I also verified that the image DOES retain its original size. In other words the image looks fine when placed in a screen division or scene that is sized exactly to the dimensions of the original image.
