Hiding player controls
« on: October 19, 2018, 09:24:19 AM »
I'm wondering if there is a way to hide the player controls (not the screen) with AverMedia Center 3D.  Here's why:
I've designed a signage set up that has cable television playing on 2/3 of the screen, with local content playing in other portions.  Every time I shut off the TV or the cable box, the cable TV portion of the screen shuts down.  When I turn it back on, the viewer and the controls show in the screen.  I'd like to know if anyone has run into this problem and if so, how did you solve the controls showing over the signage portion of the screen.

From the sound of it, the player is losing the resolution of the TV when you turn off the tv, that is why the controls are showing when you turn it on again. The only solution to that is to restart the player everytime you turn the TV off and on, or login to the studio and update the player everytime you turn the TV off and on. This will sync the player with the correct running resolution of the TV everytime so the Aver Media app menu is hidden.
