Hello, I have two questions about Signage player.

1. Black screen appears between the transition of the images.
We found out that when we using the old version of Signage player (5.0.106), black screen does not occur between the transition of two images, but with the latest version (6.1.10), the black screen appeared, If I want to have a smooth fade in and fade out animation between the transition, what should I do when I want to use the latest version of Signage Player?


2. The hard drive problem.
After using Signage player for a while, the hard drive is nearly full and unable to download the new contents, why this happened? Is there any method to clear the cache?

Signage Studio version we used: 6.1.10.

I am having the same problems so if you do get a solution to these problems, please post them in this thread.  The black screen is something that i have been on chat about (no clear resolution yet) and when my hard drive fills up, I have to delete the signageplayer folder to clear out the old files.

Can you guys please post the kind of hardware you are using to run the Windows Desktop player, because at the moment we are unable to replicate the issues that are  posted here.

The black screen issue (hard drive problem) has been happening on a variety of different windows devices, including the MS line of players (200/300).  Btw, not sure admin if you communicate with chat but i was able to duplicate this with your chat support team.  As a point of clarity, the problem with the deleting old files was happening on v5.  It has not happened on v6 yet (i just switched over recently) so it will take some time to see if this problem has been resolved.

The is a clear cache button on the Stations tab of the Studio, this should clear out all the cached content of the player, fixing the no space issue.

We have been asking for a timeline resource or an automatic feature that could clear the cache automatically.  (Been asking for YEARS!)  I would love to have a simple timeline resource that could be dropped into a timeline that tells the player to clear the cache.  Or,  have a timer in the stations tab that could be set to clear it every few hours.

We use google drive and a google drive scene for almost everything we sell.  Clearing the cache fixes nearly every issue that we have. 

With well over 100 separate screens it is nearly impossible to keep everything "cleared".

PLEASE!  PLEASE!  PRETTY PLEASE?
