SignagePlayer on Android TV (Philips 43pus6432)
« on: March 21, 2018, 12:29:14 PM »
Hi!

Tried to start SignagePlayer on Android TV. I did manage to install the apk's. When starting, the player is stuck with only "SignagePlayer", "Default server", and "Connect" texts, but I cannot do anything. Well, "Waiting the SignagePlayer to connect xx of 20" is also flashing.

What should I do now?

Thanks,
Orvo

Well,

that was easy. Attach an usb keyboard and mouse, and you can actually do something.

Reporting - Philips works also fine, at least the simple html5 project I have at the moment. I used ES File Explorer to install the apks.

Cutting the electricity and putting it back up takes the television to TV viewing first. The watchdog does kick in after a minute or so and the player is running in about two minutes.
