 :)

Hi, I am ready to try out the digitalsignage.com free account to see if that is what we need.

We have two 4k screens ready to be deployed but not sure which one of the below specs will be good enough.

One screen will be on 24/7 the other screen will be on between 8am - 23pm

Android 6.0.1 Box
Amlogic S905X Quad Core ARM Cortex A53 @ 2GHz
GPU   Penta-core Mali-450MP GPU @ 750MHz
Memory   DDR3 1GB
Flash   eMMC:8GB

Or

OS   Windows 10 Box
CPU: Intel Atom x5-Z8350

Main Chipset   1.92 GHz 4 Core L2-Cache 2 MB 64-bit
RAM   2GB
ROM   eMMC Flash 32 GB
GPU
Intel HD Graphics 400

We will display slideshows on both screens, weather forecast and a few videos (50-60MB).

Content except for the weather forecast will be updated on a monthly basis.

Weather forecast will be updated every 60 minutes.

Thanks in advance for your expert opinions  :) :o

Android players only support 1080p screens. That being said, We would suggest you go with a Windows-based player but avoid any Atom-based CPU as these are generally too weak to run our software. We suggest you go with an i3 based processor at the minimum.
