SignagePlayere.exe has stopped working
« on: September 27, 2017, 05:48:46 AM »
Every since the release of v6.XX I have been getting the following errors on my Signage Players.
These are not all the same devices & not all running the same campaigns.
If I roll back to V5.0.106 all is good and stable.

This has been traced to the GLOW effect you are using on some of your scenes, the 6.X player uses quite a  bit more CPU resource and is causing some of the lower end windows players to crash for some reason. We tested this on i3 i5 and i7 based players and the i7 players ran without issues. We are investigating the issue and will try to issue a fix on a new release.

I am very glad to hear that you pinpointed the cause!  :D
I look forward to your investigation & future "FIX"!  ;D
