Clients burning thru data in notime

Hello all

Have a few clients running their station thru a mobile internet subscription. Within a few days, maximum a week, their gigabites are gone used up on SignagePlayer data only.

Have read inhere about a few people using a program to control the dataflow but have been unable to find anything usefull.

Any recommendations about what to use to limit the data traffic ?   

The data files are small but if they reload on every cycle it adds up.

Guess they could turn off their connection when the machine has been turned on and is up and running in the morning. But do not want the screen going black when the internet is cut. As seems to be a problem sometimes.

Any help is much appreciated.

try removing things like RSS or custom feeds and see if you get better results

guess i could try that.

But the profile have been running for almost 2 years, without any problems.

This started about 2 months ago and has been doing it since. So was looking for a way to monitor their data flow.

have 25 other clients running more or less the same profile and the same type of inet. But they have no problems.

The machine is not running wifi, so nobody has the possiblity to hijack the connnection and youtube the data away.
