Can a timeline end without resetting scrolling items?
« on: December 08, 2016, 11:04:12 AM »
Howdy,

I have a timeline where the main section is jsut under 2 minutes long.  It's basically a slideshow of various images.  Underneath that I have a scrolling RSS feed and a scrolling Stock ticker.

Currently, when the main timeline ends (when the last picture is shown) everything goes back to the beginning so the stock ticker and RSS feeds reset back to the beginning.  Is there any way to have those two items just scroll on their own and not be affected by the actual timeline?

E.g. If I have 100 stocks in my ticker and the main images end when it's only on symbol 20, can the images reset but the ticket just keeps going unaffected until it reaches the end of the symbol list and then it will start over?  And same with the RSS feed based on however many items the feed pulls in.

Hopefully that makes sense.

Thanks.

Use the common channel for the RSS feed so  it doesnt reload when the timeline ends.

check video tutorial here: http://www.digitalsignage.com/_html/video_tutorials.html?videoNumber=commonChannel
