Android Player to stop when device is in sleep mode

Hello:

We run our presentation on Android 4.4.2 devices installed on 100 taxis, device goes into sleep mode when taxi is off but presentation keeps runinning, it doesn't shown on screen as it is in sleep mode but we can still hear the presentation sound on the device speakers.

How can we stop presentation when device on sleep mode and resume it when it "wakes-up"?; do we have to dive in the APK source code to to so or is there a config. setting?

You can possibly just set a schedule timeline to show blank screen (per day of time / week) if for some odd reason the sleep doesn't work properly on your device.
