Timeline zoom in further
« on: April 16, 2010, 05:06:31 PM »
We have a few campaigns with some short duration sequences of JPG images - displayed for 5 secs each. Even at the most zoomed in view the thumbnail is tiny, and because the display is so short the filename is not displayed. It is therefore all but impossible to identify which resource is which to edit  / delete them selectively later.

I have the same situation and concur.  The ability to zoom in further would be very valuable indeed.  I second the motion.

How about utilizing a rubber band effect for the timeline similar to that used by Adobe After Effects or Pinnacle Studio.  It's incredibly handy to mouse over the timeline and then click and drag left or right to either expand or contract the contents of the timeline.  I think we also need a LIST view as well.

Will this be implemented in the 3.1 release?  It's almost impossible to keep track of the resources on a timeline with the thumbnails so small.
