MediaDroidX Trouble Connecting to Internet

We are running mediadroid x players purchased from DigitalSignage. I create a campaign run it at the shop all is well but when we send the player to the customer it will not connect to the internet and I have a red circle. Some stores have no problem but ones that do not connect are a problem. Is there any way to trouble shoot this problem. The box's are set up to run Ethernet with the other options turned off (per DS help) but sometime the Ethernet button automatically turns off. I can walk a customer through the setting get it back on but if they go back its off again. After walking a customer through some settings and it won't hook up I offer to send them another box. When the old box returns I hook it up without touching anything and it connects and plays no problem.

 This makes our Co. look bad and Digital Signage look bad. When they work they work very well, but this is a nagging problem that no one seems to know what to do with. Can anyone help?

it seems the problem is strict firewall policies with some of your clients.
