MediaDroidX drivers for Windows 7

Does anyone know what driver to install so that I can see the MediaDroidx when plugged into a Windows 7 computer(and from there access it in Android Studio). I assume its something along the lines of installing a specific like these other oems: developer.android.com/studio/run/oem-usb.html. This is not for display but rather to be able to change settings of the droid before plugging it back into a display. I need to set global proxy settings via adb so that I can use Ethernet that has a proxy. Any help is appreciated.

I have the first generation andoid media players that i got from Mediasignage ; Is there anyway i can update the android as it has the old flavour of android it doesnt even go to google playstrore
