JSON/XMP video playlist?
« on: May 10, 2016, 08:01:36 AM »
Hello guys, can someone shed some light on our system?

We currently have a website that allows end users to select the videos from our library. This website can already generate an XML playlist for different userID. I was wondering, if we can use this website for Digital Signage as well. I looked at JSON and XML tutorials but am not sure how to associate a certain player to this JSON or XML playlist, and how to deploy this playlist to this player.

Any suggestions are most welcome.

Thank you.

Hello, now we can generate a JSON playlist, but we still don't know how to automatically assign a JSON file to a media box. Any idea? Deeply appreciated.

you can use the json component to read your json feed and display the data in a scene, like videosm text and images
