« on: April 20, 2015, 08:55:07 AM »
I find Jalapeño SDK/API very interesting. Where can I found examples a complete tutorial/documentation to use it in my ASP.NET application?

Regards.

Hi,

we have bought Enterprise edition and we focused on API/SDK...we find it very intersting. We have reviewed all the public tutorial and API/SDK information. We think this public info is incomplete and we cant develop only using it...it is too generic...as reseller we need a more complete one. There are any especific API/SDK technical information for resellers? How could we get it?

thanks

We have lots of docs for StudioLite (all code is annotated) as well as video tutorials.
All info posted here: http://www.digitalsignage.com/_html/open_source_digital_signage.html

We hired a few outsourcing guys for projects using the supplied docs and they created custom SignagePlayer components for clients just off our video tutorial for the components SDK.

For developing using the sdk.. you will need programmers with knowledge on javascript .. If you are new to Signage studio my advice would be to use all the components that are part of the enterprise account and understand the features.. then start working on the sdk to know what components you would essentially need and also understand the nomenclatures

Hi...I have read that Lite and Pro version are incompatible...My idea is maintenance the Digital Channel in backend using Signage Studio Pro, and give a small Front-End to my customers (ASP.NET web Application that will use Jalapeño SDK to connect with MediaSignage platform) to expose only some features...Does it possible?? Are Incompatible both versions??

you can create a Pro account, and use the SDK / Pepper to create a custom interface for customers to add / remove / modify features that you expose via your own API, sure....

Hello Admin

I try to minimize feature. There are so many APi. I did not which one API should be started first.
Also which programming tool I need. I thought javascript. Is this APi working Windows XP 32 bit?
Main template menu might be required with some features. I do not see any main template such as studioLIte or studio player, unless I am missing. Your guidance would be appreciated.
